Truck Pai is a digital platform connecting Truck Owners/Drivers with Customers (Users) for transportation services. We act as a facilitator and are not responsible for the direct execution of transportation or the conduct of independent drivers.

2. Information Collection

We collect various types of information to provide and improve our service:

• For Customers (Users): We collect your Name, Mobile Number, and Pickup/Delivery addresses. National ID (NID) information may be requested for specific verification purposes if deemed necessary for security or high-value shipments.
• For Drivers and Owners (Mandatory): To ensure a safe marketplace, we collect and verify: Full Name, Mobile Number, NID (Scan/Photo), Valid Driving License, Vehicle Registration Documents, Fitness Certificate, Tax Token, and Route Permit.
• Location Data: We collect real-time GPS location data from drivers and users to facilitate tracking, calculate arrival times, and ensure the safety of goods. This data is collected even when the app is in the background during an active trip.

3. Use of Data

The information we collect is used to:

• Verify the identity and legitimacy of both users and drivers.
• Process and manage truck bookings.
• Track the movement of vehicles during trips for real-time updates.
• Improve our platform, prevent fraud, and provide customer support.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data is shared only for operational purposes:

• User-Driver Coordination: Once a booking is confirmed, the respective User and Driver will have access to each other's names and phone numbers to coordinate the shipment.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation Process: To cancel a trip, Users or Drivers cannot cancel directly through the app. You must contact our Customer Care Helpline at +880 9613 240 707.
• Rating Impact: While we do not charge a cancellation fee at this time, frequent cancellations will negatively impact your User/Driver Rating.
• Refunds: If a pre-paid booking is canceled due to our internal issues or driver unavailability, a refund will be processed to the original payment method (e.g., bKash) within 7-10 working days after verification.

6. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We use industry-standard encryption and security protocols. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
